aka Kate's alter-ego. Sick of the crazy connotation, Kate prefers Classy. When she isn't taking care of cats, learning about nutrition, or slaying life, she's rocking the vintage style.

Kate has been fostering animals as long as she can remember, starting with orphaned squirrels after Hurricane Floyd in 1999, up until currently, she also owned and operated North Charleston's First Cat Café. Kate currently is President & Founder of Feline the Love Feral Cat Advocacy, a local non-profit, pending 501(c)3 status. 

 

Kate started in the veterinary medical field in 2004, and then graduated from Trident Technical College's Veterinary Technology Program in 2013, Kate passed her national and state boards, becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has special interests in hand-raising neonates, feline medicine, and nutrition. Of course, those cats with special needs hold a special place in her heart.
